Activities

Liverpool Cares runs three core programmes to help us reach people at risk of isolation and to connect our neighbours to the changing people and places around us.

Social Clubs

Social Clubs

Liverpool Cares' group activities offer a chance for older and younger Liverpudlians to share time, laughter and new experiences in a way that helps everyone to feel a part of our changing city.

Social Clubs take place during weekdays, evenings and weekends, and have previously included nature walks, technology workshops, visits to local business, board game nights, pub clubs, and more. Our activities change every month, and we're always happy to hear your ideas too – so let us know how you'd like to shape Liverpool Cares' social clubs by getting in touch through our Contact page.

Love Your Neighbour

Love Your Neighbour

Love Your Neighbour is a friendship matching programme bringing older neighbours (over 65) together with a younger neighbour to spend a little time one-to-one on a weekly basis. Friends will be able to enjoy a cuppa and a natter about all sorts – from work to relationships to days gone by. Our Love Your Neighbour programme helps younger and older neighbours to build deep and mutual friendships over time that helps to bring a little of the outside world in for neighbours who can struggle to get out.

Community Fundraising

To make Liverpool Cares sustainable for the long term, we need you! So our ongoing programme of exciting challenges, events, partnerships and digital campaigns will provide another way for older and younger neighbours to come together to share time, and to support their growing network.
