Activities

Liverpool Cares will run three core programmes to help us reach people at risk of isolation and to connect our neighbours to the changing people and places around us.

Social Clubs

Social Clubs

Liverpool Cares' group activities will begin in autumn 2018. They will initially be sporadic while we find our feet and build a programme of clubs around the city – and from early 2019 they will take place a few times a week and offer a chance for older and younger Liverpudlians to share time, laughter and new experiences that help everyone to feel a part of our changing city.

Clubs during week days, evenings and weekends will include dance parties, new technology workshops, 'back to work' business visits, games nights, pub clubs, and more. And we want to hear your ideas too – so let us know how you'd like to shape Liverpool Cares' clubs by getting in touch through our Contact page.

Love Your Neighbour

Love Your Neighbour

Love Your Neighbour will be a friendship matching programme bringing older neighbours over 65 and younger neighbours together to spend a little time one-to-one. Friends will be able to enjoy a cup of tea and a natter about all sorts – from work to relationships to days gone by – and build deep and mutual friendships over time that help bring a little of the outside world in for neighbours who can struggle to get out.

Community Fundraising

Community Fundraising

To make Liverpool Cares sustainable for the long term, we need you! So our ongoing programme of exciting challenges, events, partnerships and digital campaigns will provide another way for older and younger neighbours to come together to share time, and to support their network.
